The workout is inspired by dancers' daily training: Classes begin with a warm-up and targeted training on the mat followed by easy to do ballet exercises at the barre and in the center. The variable intensity of the classes allows you to burn even more calories. Individual sequences of exercises at the barre, in the center and on the mat, strengthen the muscles, make them more flexible and improve your performance, condition, strength and flexibility. To increase the effectiveness of exercises, during training, we use light dumbbells, small Pilates balls as well as elastic bands. Strength and grace are the best way to describe this activity.

In the classical Pilates method, there is a sequence of exercises, which was designed by Joseph Pilates to move the body through a full range of movement. The sequence builds intelligently with foundational exercises at the beginning and more complex exercises once body awareness and strength increase. The program focuses on the entire body, mind and spirit, making it a holistic practice. At BALANCE Studio, we practice on mats according to the original work of Joseph Pilates and his philosophy.
Join classStretch like a ballerina! Ballerina Split is designed to help you safely and effectively achieve your splits (yes, it is possible with consistency and patience ;-)). The purpose of this class is to increase your flexibility through a variety of yoga, fitness, Pilates and ballet training techniques. We will start with a beautiful and relaxing dynamic stretching section, a short cardio interval to be perfectly warmed up and then work on getting into front splits and side splits. We are using props such as yoga blocks and elastic bands to make this class also accessible for beginners. A final core strengthening sequence will be practiced to leave you feeling strong and energized. Start your split journey now with this beautiful and relaxing class.
Join classOur studio offers exclusive private and semi-private lessons for a completely personalized training experience. Classes are available in Polish, English, French, German and Russian. Our private lessons take place in the beautiful and intimate studio on Mokotowska street. For clients who don’t have the time to come to our studio or prefer to train in the privacy of their own home (or office), we also offer online private lessons.
